2006 Race Rules & Payout Information
The 2006 Ohio Breeders Classic
will be a one loft 5 race series.
The champion bird will be determined by the
most combined points of five races. In
case two or more birds have the same amount of points and
tie for 1st place, they will split same number of positions.
Best average trapping position on all five races will be used
in case of a tie on all other placings.
The race is open to racing pigeon fanciers
and breeders nationwide. The race will become a two day race
if there are any prize positions left after sundown. The race
date is weather permitting and is subject to change. The
Champion birds do not have to go to all 5 races to win. If
a bird only flew in 4 out of the 5 races and still earned
more points of all birds competing, it is the winner.
All breeders can keep their birds.
Breeders will have two weeks after the race to claim their
birds. $50 shipping & handling cost will be covered by
the breeder of the bird. Any birds not claimed within two
weeks after the race will then become property of Ohio Triple
Crown.
I (Tim Ludwig) will
be the Race Director and Loft Manager. I will not enter my
own birds nor will I allow anyone else to enter my birds in
the Ohio Breeders Classic.
• $200 perch fee per team must be sent
with 3 bird team.
• $300 Entry due July 1st.
• All birds will be vaccinated when they arrive at the
loft.
• Bird inventories and training results listed on www.ohiorace.com.
• All birds must arrive between April 1st - June 1st.
• Replacement birds sent until July 15th.
• Unikon Electronic Clocking system will be used.
• 10th flight will be cut first week in May.
• Loft flying will start in April weather permitting
• Training tosses will start in July.
• Training & Race dates subject to change due to
weather.
